Ang II increases ER stress proteins. Ang II increased phospho-PERK (A), phospho-eIF2α (B), and ATF4 (C) significantly in a dose-dependent manner at 24 h. Ang II did not affect eIF2α but increased phospho-eIF2α (B). Data on the densitometric analysis of phospho-PERK/β-tubulin ratio, phospho-eIF2α/total eIF2α ratio, and ATF4/β-tubulin ratio are expressed as mean ± SD, respectively.
