Ang II induces ER stress in podocyte. Ang II increases Bip protein, an ER chaperone, in a dose-dependent manner at 24 h (A). However, losartan significantly ameliorates the upregulated Bip induced by higher does (10−7 M) of Ang II (B). Data on the densitometric analysis of Bip/β-tubulin ratio are expressed as mean ± SD.
